Dialing-For-Dollars

05/11/2008:  After a brief pause for the Primary, I have begun to raise campaign contributions over the phone once again.  This activity is central to my effort to succeed this fall.  I also hope to raise funds from the Web.  My staff has arranged for a “Click & Pledge” link allowing us to receive contributions electronically.  I hope this will increase participation in the campaign, something I deeply value.

Primary Day Activities

The First Week in May

05/04/2008:  During the final days of the Primary Campaign I continued to go door-to-door but focused my attention on helping candidates who faced opposition.  People were happy to talk with me and were very interested in this year's Primary.  Pleasant temperatures and the blooming trees made my work easy.
