Primary Day Activities

05/07/2008:  On Primary Day I visited some 35 polling places in Marion and Hamilton Counties.  I have never seen such enthusiasm in an Indiana Primary.  The turnout was very encouraging, especially to Democratic candidates like myself.  It showed the real interest of our citizens in obtaining change; it pointed up the level of dissatisfaction with our current leaders.  I was impressed by the efforts many volunteers were making.  I hope to enroll some of them in my fall campaign.
